ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE is also open to the HS level. Teams will compete within the category they have chosen. (AP, HS OR BOTH)
Teams must have a minimum of 2 students to compete
Schools can have more than 6 students on a team, however, only the top 6 scores will be considered each month.
A school can have as many as 12 teams in total
Students may only compete on ONE team during the season.
Students may only compete on a team that coincides with a class they are CURRENTLY taking, NOT a class they took in the past.
Exams are timed at 50 minutes completion time.
There will be 4 tests- 1/23/25, 2/20/25, 3/20/25, 4/24/25
Testing MUST be administered during the week of the official testing date. If you have a conflict due to outstanding circumstances (spring break, etc.) the director must be notified in advance.
The exams will be sent via email, in pdf format, to the contact teacher at the host school who will be responsible for printing and copying them for their team members.
Results MUST be emailed/mailed to the director by the Sunday of the week of testing. Exceptions due to conflicts will be accepted with director approval.
Nonprogrammable calculators are allowed. No student is allowed to use any calculator that uses Windows OS or Palm OS operating systems.
Chemistry and Physics students will be provided formula sheets for the exams.
Awards will be distributed mid to late May. Non-payment or delay in reporting final results will result in withheld final placement and certificates or plaques.
